Miss Bahamas World 2007 - Anya Watkins

Riding on the success of their launch in 2006, 2007 brought an updated website, more contestants, contestant videos, and professional pics by the guru of pageant photography himself, Fadil Berisha. It also brought us the lovely, Anya Watkins (who, in my opinion, has the most beautiful face of all Miss Bahamas World's to date). Twenty-two year old Anya, a student of Pharmacology blew everyone away with her natural beauty, poise, figure, personality, radiance and intelligence. Standing at 5ft 7", She became the third queen crowned by the Miss Bahamas Organization, but she became the first queen to be trained abroad.

Anya was sent to Puerto Rico for one month where she went through a rigorous training session. It was there that she became adored by the Puerto Rican people who were honoured to host her. Anya, became an instant hit with fans and pageant experts many of whom believed that she would become the second Bahamian woman to place at Miss World since Jody Weech. With stunning photos (professionals and candids), a fashionable wardrobe, lots of spunk and charisma and a wonderful Beauty with a Purpose project, Anya did her best in each event. Sadly, she wasn't called but was given honourable mention for her project by Ms. Julia Morely and was called "my close friend" by Miss World 2007 herself Zhang Zi-Lin. Way to go Anya!!!!
