Janeisha John from St. Croix was crowned Miss USVI Universe 2010 on Sunday night. Janeisha will now represent US Virgin Islands at Miss Universe 2010 in Las Vegas. She was also was compited in Miss America back in 2008.

I think she's gorgeous. Id love to see the US Virgin Islands making the cut this year. In fact, Im hoping for a strong caribbean presence in the top15/20, however, I would exclude Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico....they are forgettable and should be forgotten in this years pageant. Wouldn't be cool to see Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, US Virgin Islands and Jamaica in the top15.

OOOOOHHHH......I sooooo agree with you Canuck....that would be quite awesome if that happened.....this girl is fierce....love the cheek bones she's like a Caribbean version of Hungarian Model/Actress Zita Gorog who played Amelia in the Underworld Films Wink

That would be amazing and definitely a first...and I do think it could happen. Look at Miss USA 2010, a lot of unsuccessful states made it because they sent great contestants (Nebraska, Wyoming, Kansas, Arkansas, Colorado, Maine, Pennsylvania) and the successful ones that often make the cut didn't make it this time even though they had great representatives (Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida). Im hoping Miss USA 2010 was an indicator of what we can expect at MU 2010....would love to see unsuccessful countries making the cut this time over the often hyped and often top15 semifinalist. Thats why I would love to see Bahamas, T & T, US Virgin Islands over Dominican Republic (manly looking) and Puerto Rico (pure hype, forgettable girl).

Okay....this is my take....great for modelling....but I have yet to see beauty queen....her face looks really really weird when she smiles....body is hot tho!!!!
