The Royal Wedding in Sweden

Though I'm no swede, I want to share you the big day yesterday in pictures

Crown Princess of Sweden, Victoria married Daniel Westling yesterday

Talk about royal weddings – it's the first Sweden has celebrated since 1976! More than 1,200 guests gathered in the Stockholm Cathedral on Saturday to celebrate the wedding of Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria to her longtime boyfriend and former personal trainer, Daniel Westling.

After exchanging vows in an elaborate ceremony estimated to cost $2 million, the couple – who met eight years ago at the high-end gym Westling, 36, owns – rode through the capital city in a horse-drawn carriage to the cheers of tens of thousands of people, the BBC reports.

King Carl XVI Gustaf proudly gave away his oldest daughter, 32, also first in line to succeed him, exactly 34 years to the day after his own wedding to Queen Silvia.

International royals, including Prince Albert of Monaco and Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, showed up to give support for the new royal couple, as Westling gets the title Duke of Vastergotland.

After the ceremony the couple went on a carriageride across Stockholm with people cheering to them on the streets

After that the happy couple stept on a boat that would take them back to the Royal Palace for a celebration

As if the wedding ceremony itself wasn't touching and moving enough, by the time Prince Daniel made a speech at the wedding reception, no one had a dry eye in the reception or amongst the people glued to their tv sets.

I'll tell you, I have seen a lot of royal weddings and NEVER EVER have I seen a couple more in love than Victoria and Daniel.

Haha, I think it was a norwegian magazine that described him as cool as Clark Kent
