I can't decide about her. In some photos she is very, very pretty. In others, not so much. She is VERY tall, which is good and is attractive. She has placed high in other competitions, so her stage presence must be good....and I bet she exudes confidence. She has very prominent features, so I think soft hair and a soft look will complement her. I like how she wears make up around her eyes. Her eyes are very pretty and the dark eyeliner highlights them.

Of course, Del! I am always for the German girls, LOL!

I think I would like to see her with soft flowy curls in a white flowy dress.....kind of like a goddess. Minimal jewelry as she has such a presence that extra decoration is not needed. I think she would be pretty in red too. Somehing that is off the shoulder and has a high slit in the front to show her beautiful legs.

miss germany has amazing stage presence - she is also tall it appears ...the more natural she waers herself the stronger her appeal - the glammed up thing makes her appear older - she is a standout but im not sure if its a pageant standout

Interview with a highly reputed German newspaper: "We are not only decoration"

"SZ: You have just been elected Miss Universe Germany 2010. What does beauty mean for you personally?

Kristiana Rohder: People say that beauty is in the eye of teh beholder. This is my opinion, too. Me for example, I am an exotic looking type that not everybody likes. But beauty unfolds only in combination with charisma and personality - with the so often quoted "inner beauty".

SZ: Your outer beauty has often been confirmed: Miss Bayern 2009, Miss Germany 2009 2nd runner up, Miss University London 2008. Did all those titles change your life?

Rohder: Of course they did. I have made so unbelievably many experiences, met persons and have developed personally. Today I am much more eloquent than in the past, I can present and represent and hold speeches with much more self-confidence-

SZ: More eloquent? Actually, the first thing one may think about with pageants is bikinis, cat fights and superficialness.

Rohder: Those are clichees I know but cannot approve. I have always lived those pageants positively. You meet so many different persons which helps to improve your communication skills. In my eyes, pageants are much more reputable than castings for example - there's less drama.

SZ: Less drama?

Rohder: Yes. Girls help each other instead of battling against each other. Girls from all social levels compete there, behind every person ther's a story. We're not only decoration for the eye, there's much more behind. Many of teh girls are involved in charitable projects, you shouldn't forget this.

SZ: How do you rate your chances for Las Vegas, where the Miss Universe pageant will be held in August?

Rohder: For me it is a big honor to be allowed to travel there in order to represent Germany! I still can't believe it! This contest is so giant and extensive, I will definitely give my best. To reach top 15... that would be amazing! In the end there are 84 countries in the race! But however it will end, it is unbelievable to have the chance to be there.

SZ: Which title would you like to achieve?

Rohder: I have a Bachelor in International Business and would like to continue my studies some day. At the moment I don't have much time nut there's still a live after beauty pageants. I'd like to have a Master in Business Administration or something like this."
