Main activities

This year, the pageant will draw the attention of people all over the world to His Majesty, King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s abilities and accomplishments. The King of Thailand is the only royal in the world to have received the International Merit Award, an award for environmental preservation, in recognition of his theory about "Ya Faek" (vetiver grass). The following is the list of the main activities:

Date Activities
November 20, 2011 Final day of delegates' arrival
November 22, 2011 Press conference with all the Miss Earth 2011 delegates
November 23, 2011 The delegates will join together to offer their best wishes to the King of Thailand with performances and pageantry.
November 26, 2011 The delegates will separate into three groups to raise environmental awareness in the three provinces of Chiang Mai , Udon Thani, and Phang Nga.
December 3, 2011 Miss Earth 2011 grand finale
December 5, 2011 The finalists will attend the celebration of King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 84th birthday in Bangkok.
December 6-20, 2011 The Miss Earth winner and her elemental court will stay in Thailand for more appearances and fulfill their duties.
