Shanni Bukhari, 24, is hoping to make history by becoming the first Muslim to represent Great Britain at the beauty pageant. She also recieved death threats for entering the Miss Universe contest and contacted a private security firm to protect her

"I've found it difficult to get into modelling because of my height, and a lot of agencies have turned me down. But with Miss England you don't have to be a certain height to enter, so I'm glad I've been given a chance.
