They should have won MU?

In years 1978-1999 the jury scores from interview, evening gown and swimsuit competition were shown, so we can see if there were girls which were higher ranked by the judges than the real winners.

1978 - The winner was South Africa, but top-ranking was 2nd USA. Sweden and Spain had also better scores than SA

1982 - The winner was Canada, but top-ranking was 2nd Guam

1983 - The winner was New Zealand, but top-ranking was 2nd USA. Switzerland had also better scores than the winner

1985 - The winner was Puerto Rico, but top-ranking was 2nd Spain. Zaire, Venezuela and Uruguay had also better scores than Puerto Rico

1992 - The winner was Namibia, but top-ranking was Carolina Izsak from Venezuela (top6). India and Colombia had also better scores than Namibia

1993 - The winner was horrible IMO Dayanara from PR, but top-ranking were Colombia and Venezuela (top3). Australia had also better scores than the winner

1994 - The winner was India, but top-ranking was 2nd Colombia

1997 - The winner was USA, but top-ranking were Italy and Curacao (top6)

1999 - The winner was Botswana, but better scores had Spain, South Africa and Venezuela

Since 2000 we can see also judge scores in some years, but only in swimsuit and evening gown competition

Yes, sadly,really often not very pretty girl on a beauty contest win over the beautiful!

Horrible I think is a very strong word for Dayanara, neither Milka nor Paula Andrea shouldn't be there also, specially Milka with that ugly pi~ata gown.

I'm not a fan of any girl from 1993's top 3, but they both were ranked higher than Dayanara. She's my personal worst MU ever, unpretty face, not good body. I think that if Australia didn't have bad interview then she would be the winner in 1993. She deserved for more than only top 6 Sad
