WOW!!! Finally, the right girl won! I love her! She may be replacing Switzerland as my favorite. I like USA too, but I like Australia much better! Would love to see Australia claim its 3rd crown!

She's stunning and a clear favorite for the crown. I think that 2011 edition may very well be a repeat of 2004 with the last 2 standing as Miss USA and Miss Australia. Personally, I would give the edge to Australia. She's probably what the MUO is looking for and with Alyssa as Miss USA, that would make a fabulous duo just like we had in 2004 with Jennifer and Shandy. I think the USA can definitely wait a few more years before grabbing another crown...they are so many stunners this year from countries that have never won so I think it would be nice to see a country winning for the first time like Malaysia, Kosovo, Albania, Switzerland, Angola, Ghana, Costa Rica, etc.

All countries are important, no one is more nor less.

I would like to believe in it, but the truth is different. On every beauty pageant country where is headquarters is the most important. MU is an American pageant

Even though I live in the USA and very proud and happy about that, I would much prefer Australia win over USA. USA has won enough (7 times!) and I would rather a country that has never won, or one that doesn't win or even place very often to walk away with the crown. I am big fan of Miss Australia and would love to see her as Miss Universe rather than Alyssa. I think a more interesting top 2 would be Australia and Malaysia.

I agree with you, Scotty! This girl is so refreshing! But, still - Malaysia is my number 1 choice!
