***Miss Universe 2011 Preliminary Swimsuit (Group 1)***

The competition has started. On Tuesday, group 1 of the Miss Universe delegates, composed by 49 of them, had their interviews with the judges and afterwards, they posed for them during the 2011 Miss Universe Swimsuit Preview in their official swimwear. From this, the preliminary judges make their evaluations to come up with their finalists. For those who don’t know, the swimsuit preview, behind closed doors, has been taking place every year since 2002.

ageant has been announced: Top 16 semifinalists (15 from the judges and the MUO) + the popular vote winner: 16. From then, there will be a Top 8 and then a Top 4. One of those 4 lucky ladies will become the new Miss Universe.

i agree ..shes pretty and she got a nice body..only she's wearing a not so powerhouse sash..hope it wont pull her down

I too agree. She was in my latest hot picks as well. Another girl who might pull a surprise is Cyprus.

Apart from that I find many of the girls way too skinny!

Germany has one of the best bodies this year and she looks awsome here in front of the judges!!!

Turkey is a cutie, I like her and wouldn't mind if she placed. Another nice one here is Paraguay!

Germany looks gorgeous in the swimsuit photo! USA is still way too skinny for me and I noticed Malaysia is very thin.

I am beginning to like Turkey as well! It is so much fun when girls you had noticed start to shine and turn this into a true competition. I like Cyprus as well! Curacao had a nice photo too, as did Paraguay and Aruba!
