The things I don't get about top 16:

- Ukraine 1st ru??? But oh well, I didn't watch the final. On the other hand she didn't even convince me in the prelims...

- Brazil in top 5??? I expected her to make top 10 but not more! There were other options!

- No Malaysia??? What the hell did she have to do to make it? She was THE QUEEN, together with Philippines and yes, China.

I'm not stunned about the exclusion of Greece, she didn't give me much, sincerely. I liked her prelim performance and I thought she had to be there, but in the end only 16 girls could make it.

I'm sooooooo happy about Portugal's and France's placement!!!! Portugal was a sentimental fav of mine since the beginning when she arrived. Didn't expect her placement, though! I knew France was strong!

A nice result with some surprises, as every year. But this time the positive feelings prevail...

I am sooooo sad for Malaysia! What did that girl do wrong?

Angola is beautiful and a well deserved winner, but before the final she was not even in my top 16 prediction.
My predictin was very, very bad btw - 3 in my top 5 did not even make top 16 Very Happy

Me too. I was devastated when her name was not called in the top16. She performed amazingly well in the prelims and throughout the whole competition. She should have been up there. The other thing that bothers me is that there is a brand new organization in Malaysia for Miss Universe (it was established in 2010) and the org. is taking it very seriously and could open some kind of market for MU in Malaysia and South East Asia and the organizers find an amazing candidate for MU 2011, yet the MUO doesn't even acknowledge that. I hate politics in MU, but at one point, if they want some countries to keep on competing and taking it seriously, the MUO has to give them a piece of that cake too. Malaysia should definitely have been rewarded with at least a top16 placement in MU 2011.
