Chen Jian Feng (China) - Manhunt International 2011 Official Thread!!

26-year old Chen Jian Feng, representing China, was declared the winner of the Manhunt International 2011 competition held in Korea on October 10th. Feng works as a model in his country and stands 1.88 m in height.

The 1st runner-up was Mister Dominican Republic (Nelson Sterling); 2nd runner-up was Mister Belgium (Gianni Sennesael); 3rd runner-up was Mister Vietnam (Truong Thanh), also winner of the Popularity vote; and the 4th runner-up was Mister Slovak Republic (Martin Smahel).

The remaining contestants in the Top 16 were: Australia, Bulgaria, England, Hawaii, Indonesia, Ireland, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines and South Africa.

Mister Korea was declared Mister Talent, while Indonesia won Best National Costume. 48 men competed in this year’s edition of the contest, which has been held since 1993.

I noticed that many of you don't like Mr. China. Well I think Mitser China deserved to win. First of all, I noticed that Mr. China has great body, wonderful personality and sex appeal although he's not overly handsome. But I believe that judges voted for him entirely on his personality.

Mister Brazil is good, but HE LACKS CHARM. Actually I have the feeling that he will lose spark before the finals and I was right, Brazil was over rated. Mister Costa Rica was left out, on the other hand, because of his body. Manhunt International's criteria should be men with beautiful physique. For Poland, I don't expect him because his body is not good. My expectations were right, Blazej didn't enter the semi-finals. So as Algeria and Czech Rep who has very lean physique. Iran did not place because of his "feminine" looks. I've seen photos of Soroush and he's very masculine, but when I observed his photos upon his arrival in Manhunt, he looked like joining Miss Universe instead.

Malaysia placed the Top 15 because of CHARM. I think there's something precious on Mr. Malaysia's personality that was seen by Manhunt Organizers.

Remember in Manhunt, their criteria are: a man should have beautiful physique, having wonderful personality, and has sex appeal. Facial characteristics are not much important in Manhunt, unlike Mister International and Mister Universe Model who are looking for face first instead of body.

In the footsteps of the Dragon, China's - Chen Jian Feng wins Manhunt international 2011 winner. This articulate, polite and charming man hails from Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. You may call him John. He stands at 1.88 m (6 feet 2ins) and was 23 years old. His horoscope is a Virgo and his Chinese horoscope is the Dragon. He speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
He recently graduated in sports management from a Guangzhou University and works as personal trainer in one of the top Fitness centre in Guangzhou and has been a part time model for 2 years. He comes from a small family, his father is a retired civil servant and his mother is a housewife. He has a younger sister.


His favorite sports are basketball and boxing. His ambition is to be an actor in China. But right now he sets his eyes on being a top model in China and internationally with Manhunt International as his platform. His hobbies include reading and dancing. Before winning Manhunt China, John participated in the CCTV Top Model Search 2011 when he came in fourth from 1600 male models. He then went on to be Manhunt China 2011 in August 2011 and now Manhunt International 2011.

John has also been appointed as an international ambassador for men's casual wear New Urban Male. His motto in life is to be positive and confident always and never let rumors and negative things stand in his way. With this positive thinking, we are sure that the "Best is yet to come" for John Chen.


John has the distinction of being the second winner from China to be Manhunt International. China is the first country to win the Manhunt International competition twice. The first was Jeffrey Zheng in 2007.
