Adalgisa Colombo Teruskin ( Rio de Janeiro , January 11 of 1940 ) was Miss Brazil in 1958 . It was the first representative of the old Federal District , currently Rio de Janeiro , to be crowned Miss Brazil in a competition held in 1958 in Rio de Janeiro itself. In Miss Universe , held this year in Long Beach , California ( USA ), ranked second, behind only Colombia Luz Marina Zuluaga . Resigned to be during the reign of marriage marked, but is officially the winner of the contest, no other candidate to succeed until the completion of Miss Brazil 1959 . He worked as a presenter of TV Rio during the 60's , where he presented various programs, mostly aimed at the female audience. In 2004 the site was honored Misses in Brazil as the "Unforgettable Miss Brazil", at the tender age of 50.

Adalgisa Colombo paraded in Canada before becoming Miss Brazil 1958 and learned the tricks of good runway. The experience only enhanced its elegant cream, using key points in Maracanzinho and Long Beach. Already Quental Georgia came to Miss Brazil 1962 invited to represent the Rio Grande do Norte. His footsteps on the catwalk mannequin and the air "r empli de soi-meme " , were enough to leave it in seventh place - would be a perfect representative for the Miss World !
