After a shortlist of 20 contestants from the production of Miss Costa Rica, 10 finalists were chosen where one of them will be the one to replace the current beauty queen, Johanna Solano. According to Gabriela Alfaro, manager of Image and Advertising of Television of Costa Rica and in charge of the event, the choice of the girls was equal, where all used the same costumes, makeup, interviews and walkways. auditions to choose the candidates led to the production to cross the 7 provinces of Costa Rica, giving a very positive result as indicated Alfaro, indicating that most of the girls came from the surrounding hinterland of the capital, Alajuela and Heredia. activity to introduce the 10 finalists of Miss Costa Rica will be this Thursday 1 March, at Avenida Escazú. Estimated event lasts from 7:00 pm to 1:00 pm The final choice to the new beauty queen 2012 will be held on April 13, this will represent the country in the 61st Miss Universe, where contestants from around 90 nations will compete for the title of beauty. Leila Lopes, Angola will crown her successor at the end of the contest to be held in the second half of 2012.
