MESSAGE FROM VANYA MISHRA

"Hi all ! So it's day 18 and this is what I did today...

I visited the mother park, the city construction of Aletengxire town, watched performances of yangge dancing, taiji kongfu and all contestants there participated too.

Thereafter we went to a theatre to watch performances by mongolian artist and Miss China and Mongolia sang too.It was miss china's bday so we had a little celebration for her
.

Visited naadam court, watched an equestrian performance and witnessed amazing stunts!

lunch..at longkai hotel was absolutely yummy...

visited ajnai park, enjoyed the dance show, drums and songs performance!!

visited wangfu road community and the people there were so excited to see us, enjoyed guzheng dance I loved it the most because it had li'l girls perfofrming in it, they were sooo cute absolutely adorable.

All chinese kids are amazingly cute!

People getting excited to see us brings a big smile on my face! They make you feel so special

evening - rehearsals time after dinner!

What an exciting day ...can't wait to wake up and experience another day here in Ordos. Goodnight all. More updates soon

The Miss World contestants from around the world competed for the Miss World 2012 Sports title. The first elimination round for the same happened yesterday. The girls were divided into four groups, who would compete against each other. Miss India-World Vanya Mishra was a part of group two. Their group donned black war paint lines on their face expressing their team spirit.

The contestants were cheering for each other. The six top-scoring contestants from each group will be short-listed for the finals. The contestants making it to the final round will compete in individual as well as group challenges.

The contestants had a set of five exercises to do back-to-back, each for 30 seconds. The initial challenges included step-ups, sit-ups, push-ups, lunges and burpees. Around five different judges were marking the scores and the results should be out soon.

Sorry for a late update but just wanted to let you all know what I have been with these past few days.

The Miss World 2012 Sports title.

The first elimination round for the same happened yesterday. We were divided into four groups and made to compete against each other . I was a part of group two. My group donned black war paint lines on their face expressing their team spirit as you can see in the pictures below.

We cheered for each other. The six top-scoring contestants from each group will be short-listed for the finals. The contestants making it to the final round will compete in individual as well as group challenges.

We were made to do a set of five exercises back-to-back, each for 30 seconds. The initial challenges included step-ups, sit-ups, push-ups, lunges and burpees. Around five different judges were marking the scores and the results should be out soon. Will keep you all posted as soon as I know more.
