Off to the spa today and of course later to church, as you all know Sunday is my pampering day. (Unless otherwise occupied)

It's been a great weekend with my best friend visiting. Lots of shopping, work and fun! I'm looking forward to next week as I think the final touches on my wardrobe for my International Pageant will be made.

As it is Sunday, I decided to leave you with one of my favorite verses from the Bible.

Hebrews 11:1- Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

This week has started off with a bang! I have been running all day and am off to Delhi this evening! It's going to be an action packed two days in Delhi and I can't wait to shop till I drop! My stylist and I have been brain storming about my various looks and it's all coming together this week. Maybe you guys will get a sneak peak of all wardrobe action sometime this week, but that's only if you are lucky.

Well busy busy day so I'm going to head off but remember to carry your umbrellas everyone because monsoons have finally hit Mumbai. Ciao!

After Pantaloons Femina Miss India World Vanya Mishra, now it's Pantaloons Femina Miss India International Rochelle Maria Rao's turn to represent India on the International platform. Not only she is busy training herself, but she is quiet excited about her Femina cover for which she had shot last week.

"Shooting with Femina. This time I'm on my own and really looking forward to the shoot as it is not very often that a girl gets a cover of her own. I'm sure you are all going to love my Femina cover shoot, " adds Rochelle.

This year the 52nd edition of Miss International pageant will be held at Okinawa, Japan on October 21, 2012.

We had a blast at the press conference announcing Aamby Valley Bridal Week 2012 where Vanya, Prachi and I walked in outfits by different designers who would be showcasing their Bridal collections in the week.

I walked for Narendra Kumar and absolutely loved the sari ensemble that he draped me in. It was a unique and elegant piece and was the perfect blend of Indian and western elements. Something I could definitely think of using at my wedding as well. Just kidding! Don't worry, no wedding plans any time soon!

The next day was spent running all around Delhi with my stylist Amit Hansraj finalizing various outfits for my international pageant wardrobe. The best part of the day was of course the shoe shopping!

Well the crazy schedule continues as I shoot for Pantaloons today. Hope you guys are have a great week!

1st September, 2012
It was Samir Purohit's birthday this week and I was very excited to wish him. I would like to take the opportunity now to thank him and his team for all the effort they have put in to get me into shape.

The Pilates studio is a great place to work out and the Pilates workout is extremely fun and effective!

It's become like a second home for me and it is the effort of Samir and all the trainers that has made me confident to win my international pageant next month. A big thank you to Samir and the gang! And I hope he has an amazing year ahead.

It's been a long week and I'm very happy for a day off today.

As usual, Sunday is my spa day and of course I will be off to church later in the evening. As we are now officially in September, the countdown to my pageant truly begins as I have less than a month to leave. I believe that the preparation isn't just about the external process like clothes, makeup, body, hair, etc.

It's also about preparing yourself mentally. It's important to keep yourself thinking positive and to keep yourself grounded. So, I use my Sunday as a day of introspection and spiritual input. As you will see in the following proverbs it's easy to get valuable and inspiring advice and guidance through spiritual meditation.

Before a downfall the heart is haughty,
but humility comes before honor.

To answer before listening—
that is folly and shame.

The human spirit can endure in sickness,
but a crushed spirit who can bear?

I had a lot of fun last week shooting an AV with the Zoom team. The AV was a short introduction about me that will be on the Miss International website and will be used to introduce me to judges and audiences during the pageant.

We have shot the AV with the beautiful view of the queen's necklace behind us (in Mumbai's Marine Drive). But the highlight was this breath taking rainbow stretch across the sky! It was the first time in my life that I had actually been able to see both ends of a rainbow and I had certainly never seen one this large or beautiful before. For me the rainbow was symbolic of god's blessings in my life and really made me feel special and blessed. The shoot was a lot of fun and I am grateful to the entire team for making such a great effort!

I recently caught up with Marvie Beck again for some more classes on hair and makeup and was so elated to see that she had made an entire kit for me to use at my international pageant.

As today is Teachers Day, I would like to thank all the people who have taken the time and effort to train me over the last few months, of course starting with Marvie whose classes have been like gold to the three of us.

I would also like to thank Samir Purohit for all the fitness instruction and motivation. Sabira Merchant for her valuable lessons in diction and body language, Alicia Raut for giving me all the poise and confidence I will need to win the crown and most importantly my biggest mentor and source of inspiration and motivation, the force behind all 3 of us winners and the best guide we could ask for our pageant, Director Mr. Marc Robinson.

Thank you all for all your advice and support, I owe all my success and confidence to you and wouldn't be the winner I am today if it wasn't for all your help

Happy Teachers Day to all my teachers and all teachers around the world who share their wisdom to make this world a better place

It was an early morning for me today as I just flew in to Delhi for the weekend. I'm meeting up with Amit Hansraj once again to pick out some more outfits for my international wardrobe and of course, we have tons more of shopping to do as well.

Here's a sneak peak into the kind of outfits we are planning to use for my wardrobe. This piece is by Umesh Vashisht who has given me a couple more of young and fresh outfits like this one. Hope you have a great weekend! Ciao!

After a long day of fittings for the Bridal Week, Vanya, Prachi and I headed to F Bar for an intimate dinner hosted by Mr. Vineet Jain. Keeping us company w as Miss India World 2010 Manasvi Mamgai, Miss India International 2011 Ankita Shorey and Miss India South 2012 Shamata Anchan. We also got to catch up with designers like Narendra Kumar and Rocky S along with stalwarts from the advertising industry and noted photographer Atul Kasbekar. All in all, a good way to start the long and exciting India Bridal week.
