Road to Miss America 2013

Megan Lyman was crowned Miss New Hampshire 2012 on April 28, 2012. She will represent New Hampshire in Miss America 2013 Pageant. Megan Lyman, of Gilford, was Miss New Hampshire’s Outstanding Teen 2008. She was a member of the class of 2009 at Gilford High School. She was also crowned Miss Deerfield Fair 2010.

Kelsey Fournier was chosen Miss Rhode Island 2012 on
Saturday night May 26, 2012 in Rhode Island College - Roberts Auditorium
600 Mount Pleasant Avenue Providence, RI . She will represent Rhode
Island at the Miss America 2013 pageant next January in Las Vegas.

22 year old Miss Freedom Forge 2012, Jordyn Colao of Erie was chosen Miss Pennsylvania 2012 on Saturday night May 26, 2012 in Pittsburgh. She will represent Pennsylvania at the Miss America 2013 pageant next January in Las Vegas.

The 2012 Miss Alabama Pageant will be held in June 6-9, 2012, in
Birmingham at the Wright Center on the campus of Samford University.
New Beauty Queen will represent her state at the Miss America 2013 pageant next January in Las Vegas.

I forgot that this would be on tonight. I will tune in to see who wins. Miss America is usually very boring with the talent portion that seems to drag on forever. But, I will watch anyway, hahaha!

Not impressed with miss New York who was crowned the winner. I thought South Carolina should have won. Miss Tennessee and Miss Washington could not sing! I did enjoy the dancers and South Carolina playing the piano.

I think New York is a good choice. Facially, she's not the prettiest girl (South Carolina and Wyoming were the two most beautiful women in the competition), but I think she did well throughout the competition. Her talent was fun to watch and she gave the best answer, unlike some others who didn't really answer their questions at all. Overall, I think she deserves the title and Im sure she will do an amazing job.
