GEMMA TERESA GUERERO CRUZ OF THE PHILIPPINES
MISS INTERNATIONAL 1964

Gemma Cruz is the first Filipina to win an international pageant. She competed in the fifth edition of the Miss International Pageant in Long Beach, California.

Her paternal great grandmother was Dona Maria Rizal, sister of the Philippines' national hero, Jose Rizal.
She donated her prize money to the Boys Town and Girls Town.
