On Wednesday evening, all roads led to the Ponds Femina Miss India Pune 2013. This grand finale was one of beauty and brains, poise and talent. Twelve contestants vied for the crown and flaunted elegance, grace and confidence on the ramp. Held at the Pune Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre, the finale was packed with every ingredient to make it a great show — from judges from the glamour industry to super performances through the evening to distinguished guests and high fashion.
As a landmark hospitality leader in the city, Pune Marriott Hotel and Convention Centre has been synonymous with premium events held here. This was the hotel's second consecutive year of association with Pond's Femina Miss India Pune and they were elated at hosting the most credible pageant.
Pond's Femina Miss India in association with Yamaha Ray; Crown & Jewelery partner- PC Jeweller Ltd.
Saniah Baig, a student from Mumbai, was crowned the Pond's Femina Miss India Pune 2013. Elated at her win, she said, "It was my mother's dream to be a part of Femina Miss India. And, now I am wearing the crown. It's like a dream for me. Now that I have a direct entry in the finals, I will work hard to win the title and crown. I always feel that fame is the key to a successful life. I thank God for the beautiful opportunity that I have received today."
The first runner-up was Apurva Lonkar, who just completed her graduation from Modern College, Pune. She dedicated the award to her parents. "Finally my hard work is paying off," said Apurva, adding that her immediate plans are to bask in her win.
Khushboo Vaidya, an 18-year-old from Nagpur, won the second runner-up title. Nagpur is a small city and I never expected to win at such a big event. I would like to utilise this opportunity and be a part of bigger events. This platform has helped me explore myself," said Khushboo.

Pond's Femina Miss India 2013 Ahmedabad auditions selected four beautiful and vivacious finalists from the city to be fast tracked into the final round of auditions in Pond's Femina Miss India Goa 2013.
Finalists are Meghna Raj, Heena Yadav, Shivani Joshi and Pragyee Jaiman.
It has been famously said that 'beauty is not caused. It is.' And celebrating and defining this very beauty for the Indian woman is Pond's India, a brand that has had a long and successful stint in beauty since its foray in India. The auditions in Ahmedabad witnessed an enthusiastic response from the city girls, who came in huge numbers to participate in a contest that promises to fulfill their dreams of being ramp scorchers.
Being the most credible and the largest premium face care brand in the country, they have passionately led the way in understanding women's skin and beauty needs for years. Together, Pond's and Femina Miss India intends to provide a platform to many aspiring Indian women to realize their dreams and start living beauty instead of idolizing and admiring it from a distance.
The Pond's Femina Miss India 2013 Ahmedabad auditions, that were recently hosted by Hotel Radisson Blu, turned out to be a grand evening that brought out the best faces from the city. The auditions proved to be a defining moment for the selected contestants of Ahmedabad auditions to be fast tracked to the final round of auditions in Goa. A healthy number of participants, close to 70, came to the city auditions out of which four finalists were shortlisted.
The selected girls excelled in beauty and confidence with an overall charismatic attitude that will now take them to the next level, to be held in Goa. The winners cheerfully smiled and walked the ramp oozing with confidence to win the hearts of the judges and clear the first round of auditions.
