A nurse, call center agent, a showbiz wannabe, a teacher and a farmer are some of the official candidates of the first ever search for Miss Tourism World Philippines 2012. Thirty beautiful and equally talented Filipinas were presented to the members of the media this morning, October 16, 2012 at the Rembrandt Hotel in Quezon City, during a Press launch and Presentation of the Official candidates. The ladies were chosen after a rigorous screening that attracted almost a hundred of applicants nationwide. Those who qualify came from the different provinces and regions of the country.
The press presentation was hosted by Onin Mas and Mark Salecino, Marketing Executives of Ever Bilena, one of the principal sponsors. "This is the very first time that a nationwide search for Miss Tourism World Philippines is conducted and we really put so much work in coming up with a good batch of candidates in this maiden search."say Mr. Gareth Blanco, Jr. the National Pageant Director and over-all Production Head of Miss Tourism World 2012 Pageant. The winner of this pageant will represent the country at the 2012 Miss Tourisn World Pageant to be held in one of the world's fascinating tourist destination, Amazing Thailand on December 15 of this year. The 2012 Miss Tourism World Philippines Grand Coronation Night will be held on November 11, 2012 at the Metro Walk Tent in Pasig City, to be telecast at GMA News TV Channel 112 starting 9pm. Noli A.
