	Miss Limpopo 2012, Katryn Barwise is one of 16 finalists who will compete in the Miss Earth South Africa 2013 competition. In order to qualify for selection as a national finalist, each participant is required to complete a number of community upliftment projects, education sessions and greening campaigns. A panel of judges reviewed each participant's submissions, project impacts, blog posts and personal engagements to determine who would move on to the next phase. Katryn proudly represents Limpopo and has been an exceptional ambassador for the province. She has been very active and busy as regional finalist, planting more than 120 trees already. The national finalists were part of a group that traveled to Cape Town, where they joined Reliance Compost to "green up" the city through a series of school projects, beach clean-ups and volunteer sessions at the Marine Bird Rehabilitation Centre. 	With a backpack, nylon jacket, hair in a pony tail and no make up, Miss Earth 2012 Tereza Fajksová showed that even not dolled up she's beautiful. Tereza recently went on a holiday trip in Slovakia with her parents hiking the Tatra mountains after a whirlwind of traveling as Miss Earth. She trade in her crown, sash, curling iron, make up and expensive dresses for trekking shoes, shorts, tracksuits, sweatshirst and backpacks for a few days. "I'm exhausted but it is amazing", she wrote on her Facebook page. During the hiking she encountered a bear and she did not fail to share that experience on social media saying, "P.S. Never go hiking in the Tatra mountains outside the designated route or make short cuts. Why? You'll meet a bear!", Fajksová added. More photos

	The 20 year old were handed the task to present an environmental project of Colombia in the Philippines. Diana Ortegón, born in Bucaramanga and the current Miss Girardot will represent Colombia in the 2013 Miss Earth competition in the Philippines from November 14th to December 7th. The 20 year old is a Social Communication student at the Universidad Minutos de Dios. As a Miss Earth 2013 candidate, Diana have to do environmental awareness campaigns in her own country or community to be eligible for the title, thus, she lead a tree planting activity recently in four sectors of Girardot city with the help of 300 students.
