Leslassa Adey Armour Shillingford (19) who was crowned Miss Dominica 2013 at the Carnival City in Pottersville Savannah on February 28 will represent Dominica in Miss World 2013 in Bogor, Indonesia on September 28. Her participation is an initiative of the Discover Dominica Authority and the Dominica Festival Committee. The first and only time the Caribbean island competed in Miss World was in 1978 with Mona Jno-Lewis.
