Healthy Chocolate Ice Cream!!!!

I found this recipe in a cooking blog about 2 years ago and it's our favorite go-to desert! This recipe is for about 2-3 portions!
It is very tasty and the best thing is that it's made within 5 minutes without the need for an ice cream maker or hours of mixing time!

The ingredients are:
-3 bananas that you have already pealed, cut in pieces and put in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours before, so that they are completely frozen.
-3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
-1 tablespoon of peanut butter (optional)
-1 tablespoon of honey

Put all the ingredients in the blender and mix really well. After mixing for about 4-5 minutes your ice cream is ready!

ENJOY!!

I thought I'd share with you one of my favorite Colombian recipes Smile us Colombians love hot chocolate no matter whether its warm or cold, I found this recipe a little over a year ago and I make it every morning and every evening no matter what!

Ingredients (2 servings)
2 cups of whole milk
1/2 cup of evaporated milk
4 ounces of bittersweet chocolate
1/4 cup of sweet condensed milk
1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Directions
1. Put the whole milk into a saucepan & break chocolate into pieces and add to the milk
2. Add everything else (evaporated milk, condensed milk & cinnamon) to the saucepan then you heat it until the chocolate melts
3. Whisk well and add if you want it really sweet, add more condensed milk

I'll add more in a bit Smile Smile Smile

As I've been living in the US since about 1 year now, one thing I can't stop talking about is their really delicious cakes and pies! Not as healthy and light as klefto's Banana Chocolate Ice cream, but to die for!

One of my favorites is Florida Key Lime pie!

Let's share our recipes!! Key-lime-pie-m

Add 1/2 cup soft butter (115gr) to 12-15 Graham Crackers crumbs and knead until it makes a crust. Press the crust into a pie form and bake for 10 mins at 370°F (190°C). For the filling beat 3 egg yolks with 1 1/4 OZ can Sweetened Condensed Milk (400gr) and add 1/2 cup key lime juice (or normal lime juice). Give the filling on the pre baked crust and bake everything again for about 10-12 mins. If you want make a meringue topping from the remaining egg whites and some sugar and put it on top before baking.

Here is a Tennessee favorite:

Cornbread Casserole

1 box of cornbread mix
2 eggs
8 oz sour cream
1 can creamed corn
1 stick of butter/margarine

Melt butter in a deep casserole dish then add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
