22 JAN 2014	EL SALVADOR SAYS "PRESENT" IN WORLD MISS UNIVERSITY 2014
	The city of HwaCheon, South Korea, is home to the World Miss University 2014 beauty pageant and El Salvador is being represented by Miss Georgina González, a 20 year old model and public relations student. Last week, the Salvadorian beauty made the long trip to the Asian country hoping to capture the coveted crown and put up the name of El Salvador. This event aims to strengthen ties of sisterhood, peace and love among all nations and to promote the eradication of violence and war. In the 26th edition of this competition, the 41 delegates from different countries share important issues related to the situation that exists in every nation. Prior to the coronation on January 25th, contestants are required to participate in different activities, many of which are organized by the pageant's sponsors. Georgina is from Quezaltepeque, La Libertad and currently holds the title of Miss Earth El Salvador 2013 under Reinado de El Salvador organization. She will represent El Salvador once again in the Miss Earth 2014 to be held later this year. Read on
