No more Fadil Berisha for MU?????

There is a rumor going around for a couple days now that Fadil Berisha will not be this year's official MU photographer!
In wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miss_Universe_2013 says that his contract with the MU organization expired!
If Fadil no longer works for Miss Universe, that gives a whole new meaning to Kosovo/Albania not participating this year!

Wiki is not very trustworthy, if it is true, then I hope this is the end for fishy lips, overphotoshoped pics and controversial photogenic awards!!!
MU needs some fresh ideas! I hope the tacky Sherri Hill opening dresses are the next thing to go!!

I was thinking that since the competition is in Moscow this year, that it would be grad if the opening would be inspired by Russian history/culture! What if the girls were dressed up as Tolstoy's heroines?

they should bring back the NC opening it used to be so much fun now MU opening looks cheap specially when girls scream their names over their lungs

I liked the opening with the national costumes. Since MUO switched production companies, we now have the girls in the Sherri Hill dresses screaming their names as noted in one of the previous posts. This company also produces the Miss America pageant where the girls introduce themselves in a very cheesey way. Hoping that this year's pageant will be classy, elegant, and reflect the beauty of the Russian culture! I can do without Jeannie Mai's commentary as well.

Miss Universe these days is being evolved around the american audience
I think MUO doesn't care about it's global audience
you don't see host or performers from other countries in MU

I've never considered Fadil as the OFFICIAL photographer. He takes the glamourshots and that's it. That's all he does.
All the other photos (official headshot, gown, ss, prelimpics and activieties) are from other photographers.
And if Fadil is not in this year then I'm sure there are talented russian photographers who they can call on to take the glamourshots.

As for Sherri Hill, I LOVE THE DRESSES.
