If I were Trump, I would make sure to select lots of the European girls to generate some interest in the pageant in Europe. Even better if a European wins. It would be nice to see the pageant take place in Europe in the future. I won't be shocked if Azerbaijan places even if she is one of the Trump choices. I will be happy too, if Spain or Poland wins. I will be disappointed if we get the same old countries placing this year when there are so many deserving girls from countries that rarely place.

I just don't see Poland or Spain as Miss Universe. No matter how hard I try to picture it, they just don't scream MISS UNIVERSE to me.

I agree with you 100%..I'd love to see countries that haven't placed for a little while or never placed finally making it to the semis...I would prefer to see that than the same old countries placing every year.However, knowing how Trump and MUO work, we'll probably see some same old countries place for ratings or political/business purposes.

I agree. No doubt these girls are already in top 15: USA, Russia, Puerto Rico, Venezuela...probably Brazil and Colombia. I do have a terrible feeling that despite so many stunning girls, the winner will probably be Venezuela or Puerto Rico....again. Rolling Eyes

I would be ok with Colombia winning since they have only won once, back in the 50s. I would prefer a country that has never won or hasn't won in many years.
