In Americas the Reinados (Queens) are traditional pageants.
Reinado Intl del Café/Queen of Coffee
Reina Hispanoamericana
Reinado Mundial del Banano /Queen of Banana
Reinado Internacional del Arroz /Queen of Rice

The Reinados celebrate, generally, traditions of a region or countries. In the Queen of Coffee (since 1957), for example, the greatest importers and exporters participate.

Panela is unrefined whole cane sugar, typical in Central and Latin America, which is basically a solid piece of sucrose obtained from the boiling and evaporation of sugarcane juice.
