Re: Aliki Diplarakou (Miss Europe 1930)
Aliki Diplarakou is the right spelling! There is an interesting story here!
Aliki, was not a delegate, she was there to watch the contest.
Members of the jury saw her, called her on stage and offered her the crown! She said no at the begining but then the Prime-minister of Greece Alexandros Zaimis told her that representing her country is an importand national matter and so she accepted!
She died in London in October 2002. She was married to Lord Russel, Duke of Bedford since 1945 and had two children, Georgianna and Alexander, she lived a happy life and was memorably beautiful till her last days!
On her wedding day!!!!!!!

I case any one is interested her is one of her rare TV appearances in early 70's [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I hope the link works outside Greece as well!!
Update: Ιn the video, and probablymost all of you can't understand, she said that the Miss Europe Contest gave her the opportunity to meet people such as Franklin Roosevelt & Eleanor Roosevelt, Albert Einstein and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry writter of "The Little Prince"! She was a very lucky girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Presinted-Presented
contestent-contestant
importand-important
How can you correct your rights, If you yourself dont think about whats your mistakes? Maam, I may respect your opinion but you should have to respect the correct spelling of the word english.
Re: Aliki Diplarakou (Miss Europe 1930)
I did not correct your spelling Dora!! This is not school! That's the way her name should be written to sound correctly! Greek phonemes are not 100% compatible to the english Alphabet!

You can push people to correct them if they have rights like you, Its not worth it to make a opinion, or comment with you because its a mis-understanding communication! What you came from is your school its nonesense if you are educated but you can't apply it with your own! Should I take it PERSONALLY? Im sorry behavior or emmaturity its not in the AGE..
