This photo was published on 16^th October 1957, two days after the final night. Miss Canada, Judy Welch, 21, of Toronto, failed to make the finals but proved to be a goodwill embassador overseas. She was the winner of nine beauty crowns since 1953, including Miss Toronto of 1956. Miss Welch has blue eyes and honey blond hair.
