It looks like a very nice top5. Netherlands was one of my favorites, but I did not believe she would be in top5.

Yes...but a Latina once again got the crown!!!! And personally think there could have been 2 more worthy Europeans up there in top 5. Don't get me wrong Ukraine is beautiful but I feel she just relied only on her looks and that's it...her answers at the end were deplorable but then I suppose the others didn't do any better either!!!!

well if Trump goes bankrupt he can become a psychic! he wanted miss USA and Colombia in top 2 places for the crown! well done!days ago u were so accurate with ur predictions! then again , as i said in a previous post, when i contacted a betting office ,asking why Miss universe betting is no longer available,and that was 3-4 days ago , they said the winner is already picked and will be announced during the live show! that says it all!

During the commercials break just after Maria Gabriela made her final walk, Gabs (Puerto Rico) fainted on stage and Miss Philippines helped her until she got help. Gabs said that she looked down and everything went black and she could not stayed on her feet and then she collapsed. After a few minutes later she was fine.
I guess it was the stress and pressure these girls are during the whole competition, also Bahamas fainted but it was at the preliminaries.

Well, I Think Miss Ukraines position was more political than anything. Miss Russia was equally stunning and didn´t even make semi....and no remarks about last years show in Russia...I think NBC made a statement with that...
Winner is OK....Jamaica was not my cup of tea. If it depended on her hair, Miss Germany had a short hairdo and was Beautiful-if she´d represented Ukraine she would have made top 3....I don´t know if Jamaica's father said all that Daily mail printed but if so, they are sore losers.

Show was too long-but great hosts, and a new way to introduce finalists and jury. To much Music I Think....Swimsui tcompetition went way too fast...evening gown is the most stunning moment of the show, as always!!

Congratulations to Colombia!

Now on to next year!!

I asked the ladies in my office what they thought about Miss Universe. The ones who watched said they grew bored over three hours and would watch something else and flip channels back and forth. Many of them said they thought Jamaica was the stand out and they liked her short hair. They also liked Netherlands in her yellow dress. They thought Miss USA was pretty too. They were not impressed with Ukraine. One commented she thought Ukraine was prettier with her hair down. They all agreed Colombia is pretty, but many commented she had the "clone" look. tall, exotic, and dark hair.

I had some of the nurses in my room watching part of the opening. One said: I don't even know which state won Miss USA this year. Interest ist going down and down each year. And now it will even more.

Btw I thought Ukraine looked extremely plastic and rehearsed and didn't belong in the top 5! I loved her during prelims though! My favorite from top 5 won - well my sentimental was NL of course but realistically spoken - so I am happy!
