Road to Miss Finland 2017 - October 1

Okey, so there has been some changes in Miss Finland selection.
First of all Miss Finland 2017 will be selected in September.
Second, next TUESDAY May 16th 20 semifinalists will be introduced to the media
Casting was held last sunday where these 20 semifinalist were chosen.
The 20 semifinalist will then go through a "trainingcamp". The first part will be helt this coming week
May 15th to May 21, then during the summer we will have training weekend and trainingday.
All this so that once the 10 finalist will be announced they will already had gone through a educting training period.
Selecting Miss Finland in September naturally doesn't give our organisation a long
period of preparing our girls for pageants, but will just have to see how it goes

One of the girls whose photo I posted earlier was disqualified due to rule break.
Marjaana Savila had been married at age 19 and "forgot" to inform the organisation.

I like her - I hope she has a good background and story and has a good communication skills. Miss Universe is no longer about beauty only. It's been a long overdue for Finland to place in the semis
