Joanna Gapińska (born March 10, 1968 in Szczecin) - Miss Polonia 1988.

Joanna Gapińska has been practicing artistic gymnastics since she was 7 years old. She is a graduate of the University of Physical Education in Szczecin . During her studies, she met Lidia Wasiak ( Miss Polonia 1983 ), who encouraged her to participate in Miss Polonia's election .

In 1988, Joanna Gapińska won the final of the Miss Polonia competition (she also gained the title of Miss Elegance), thanks to which she represented Poland at international beauty contests. In the same year she participated in the Miss World 1988 competition , and in 1989 she became III Vice- candidate of the Universe during the elections organized in Mexico .

After participating in beauty contests, she signed a contract with the Elite model agency. She traveled, among others in Mexico and the USA . In Poland, she advertised TV producer Tec / Funai and the construction company Budimex .

oanna Gapińska married her fiancé, Marek Kulas, with whom she has two sons: Marek (born 1994) and Christian (born 1997). He lives with his family in the suburbs of Chicago .

In 2000 her father died.
