1. Lebanon - Maya Reaidy

I would love to see Lebanon winning their 2nd Miss Universe crown after 46 years. From my memories their last placement is in 1973?

2. Switzerland - Jastina Doreen Riederer

My favorite European girl this year. I am glad Switzerland is back! They are kinda successful in Miss Universe with placements but they never had any crown yet! I would love to see Switzerland in the Top 3! Their last placement is in 2013 and their last highest placement is in 2006 (2nd runner up)

3. Philippines - Catriona Gray

We just won in 2015 so I am not sure if IMG is ready to give another crown for the Philippines. I believe Catriona will give a good fight. If not the main crown, the 2nd runner up spot is what I wish as we don't have any 2nd runner up yet from the history of Miss Universe!

4. Chile - Andrea Díaz

She's my favorite latina this year! I hope to see Chile making the cut. It's refreshing to see countries who haven't place for awhile. Chile's last placement is in 2004.

5. Cayman Islands - Caitlin Tyson

I believe she is the best Miss Cayman Islands I've ever seen!. I just hope IMG will finally give a spot for this small island. Having their first placement is already a big achievement for them for sure!

6. France - Eva Colas

Though Eva is not the main winner I can see her placing this year Miss Universe.

7.Canada - Marta Stepien

Canada was crowned Miss Universe 2005 in Thailand. Will history repeats itself? Canada is doing good in terms of placement since 2016. Will Marta continue the placement streak?

8. Greece - Ioanna Bella

This is a good comeback for Greece. It would be nice to Greece back in the map. Their Last placement is in 2005 which is also in Thailand.

9. Iceland - Katrín Lea Elenudóttir

She look so sweet! Iceland last placement is in 2009! I would love to see this country back in the Top 16!

10. Zambia - Melba Shakabozha

IMO she's the best black from Africa's group. Having their first placement is so refreshing. I want to see more first timer country in the Top 16!

11. Ireland - Grainne Gallanagh

So many super beauties in Europe group this year. Ireland will very likely place again this year!

12. Thailand - Sophida Kanchanarin

I think I am one of the few people who find her exotic and beautiful! Sophida is an Asian Vixen IMO and she can speak English fluently so she's definitely in my list. Thailand didn't make it into the Semifinalist when they are the host country in 1992 and 2005 so I think it's fair enough to see them in the Top 16 this time as the host country.

13. Spain - Angela Ponce

I am a transgender woman too. Though we have our own pageant I would love to see her competing in Miss Universe. Angela can be an instrument to all my sister out there to show the world! , the Universe rather! that we transwoman exist. Some countries doesn't recognize us yet. And I heard they used to stereotype transwoman as an escort which is very wrong!

14. Denmark - Helena Heuser

Another good comeback for Denmark. Their last placement is in 2007! It would be nice to see them back in the Top 16

15. Puerto Rico - Kiara Ortega

Puerto Rico is back! She's one of the best latina this year. PR placed 1st runner up in Thailand at Miss Universe 2005. Their Last placement is in 2013. I think 4 years nonplacement is long enough for them.

16. Malta - Francesca Mifsud

Malta is being trained here in the Philippines. I would love to see them placing for the first time.
