Pageant overloads this month. I don't think I can manage to make the Post Arrival Hot Picks since my travel to Bangkok is near and I still have work...

But here's my Post Arrival Favorite after 2 to 3 days when the candidates arrived in Thailand

Lebanon, Iceland, France, South Africa, Puerto Rico, Japan, Colombia, Chile and Canada

I like Cayman Islands I can see her as the next Curacao (2015), Haiti (2016) and Jamaica (2017)

I always thought South Africa, Zambia and Kenya is the best in Africa but I can see Nigeria placing higher

I am eyeing for China as well. If last year androgynous looks made the cut, why can't she

Nepal is a pleasant surprised!

I like Albania as well specially if she covers herself lol!

Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan (I would love to see them in the Top 15) but definitely not everyone will make it

Russia is a Goddess!!

Actually you're wrong.
Caribbean region is not a continent. North America is a continent and Puerto Rico belongs to it.

You didn't mention also Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.

I know that the Caribbean is not a continent (I've been living here for years) it is a region of AMERICA (the real name not North, Central, South and Caribbean) and it is not considered neither part of North nor Central America. Mama Morley added years ago the Caribbean as if it was a continent, she is wrong. Many years ago it was part of America's group.
Beliize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama are in Central America, not in North America.

If we divide Americas into North, Central and South parts then yes, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama are in Central America.
It's like Poland in Europe, always the same question: Are we in Central Europe or in East Europe? We actually prefer to be consider as Central Europe #russophobia

My Pre Top 20 before Preliminary Competition

Africa and Asia Pacific

It’s unfair for this region as there are at least 4 ladies from Africa who deserves a spot and Asian is getting stronger and stronger plus those countries of the continental Oceana and beauties from the middle east. 5 spots is not bad. At the moment here’s my Top 5 from this Region/Group

1. Japan – If Kurara Chibana brough a Samurai and been noticed for that, Yuumi brought Sailor Moon which is one of my favorite Manga character! She is also consistent and I can see her placing high. Yuumi can speak English and other language as I heard
2. Nigeria – If Ghana pull off a surprise last year I can see her as the next Black beauty that may surprise everybody. I believe she’s the best Black from Africa
3. Philippines – Definitely one of the frontrunner in Asia. With her experience and dedication I believe she will do well during the closed door interview which is her forte. Catriona is one of the best Miss Philippines recently
4. Australia – Being the first Aussie with Asian decent is refreshing and not the common Blondie from the down under. She looks so sweet and many fans loves her and see her as the next Miss Universe. I believe she will do well during the closed door interview as well based from her profile
5. Lebanon – This is the disadvantage from those beauties of the Middle East. I believe it’s time for them to make the cut. If Israel made the cut in 2005 which is held in Thailand, why can't she

The Rest from this group will be part of the Wild Card

I don’t agree to those fans who think Europe is weak. For me it’s a strong group this year compare to last year

My Top 5 are

1. Denmark – With her Oxana and Natalie aura she can easily make the cut
2. Great Britain – With her profile I believe she will do well during the Closed door interview and might be the reason for her to place
3. Albania – She is love by the fans haha. If Angela Ponce is trying to act as a genetic woman, Tejsi moves for me is very transgender woman. Isn’t it ironic? She knows how to open/start the show during the National Competition where she is the first one to perform
4. Greece – I want Iona to end the drought of Greece in Miss Universe
5. Iceland – She’s so sweet and I love her smile! My favorite Blondie for this year batch

America

This group is always strong. And 5 spot is literally not enough for them. Poor for those small islands and weak sash but I believe IMG will be fair enough to give a spot for a country who rarely place

1. Cayman Islands – She’s the best representative for this island IMO. She can be the next Curacao (2015), Haiti (2016) and Jamaica (2017)
2. Colombia – Am I the only one who thinks Valeria may place very high? She has less hype which is good
3. Canada – Natalie won Miss Universe 2005 in Thailand. And Canada is good in terms of closed door interview. Since IMG Canada become consistent in placing.
4. Puerto Rico – Finally this island is back. Kiara is one of the best Miss Puerto Rico I’ve ever seen with her million dollar smile she may be the next Miss Universe
5. Panama – We need some beauty from the Central America and I choose Panama.

Wild Card

1. Spain – Being the first Transgender woman in Miss Universe this is a good story to tell for ratings purposes as well
2. South Africa – For tension purposes it’s either Tamaryn or Catriona for Wild card spot
3. Thailand – Host Factor. Thailand didn’t place the first two edition that was held in Thailand. So I believe a sure placement is for the host country
4. USA – I just don’t see her placing high but Sarah has a good personality so she will ace the closed door interview for sure. Sash Factor
5. Nepal – I believe we need more Asian and Nepal is my choice for now. She’s been in my radar since Day 1

Possible Alternate Wild Card: Venezuela, India, Zambia, Mexico, France, Cambodia, Vietnam
