DENISE

It will not surprise anyone that Denise Speelman already has modeling experience with her 1.85 meter length, luscious hair and sparkling brown eyes. But there is something hidden under that beautiful appearance: Denise has had an eating disorder in the past, but fortunately she has been rid of it for a number of years by good help. She has turned this into something positive, that it is important how good and healthy you feel and radiate.

"Feeling good in your body" has become her life's work, Denise has her own successful styling company. People dress in such a way that they feel themselves at their best, that's where she gets her energy from. Collapse

This 22 year old finalist was born and raised in Groningen. She won Miss Noord Nederland in 2014 and then moved to Amsterdam where she now also runs her company. With her participation, Denise hopes in any case to open the discussion about eating disorders and appearance. Everyone should know where to go for help, and everyone should know that you are beautiful, regardless of your color, weight, or intelligence.

Dominique Hazeleger has a lot of modeling experience but it is not only a beautiful picture! This 23-year-old psychology student from Amsterdam has a black belt in jiu-jitsu. She participates in Miss Netherlands because first of all she never avoids a challenge, she previously participated in Expedition Robinson and reached the final. Secondly, she wants to show that it is not the perfect picture: you are as beautiful as you feel and you achieve that by living healthy, eating and exercising. She wants healthy living to be an option for everyone in the Netherlands. Collapse

Once she hopes to obtain a master's degree in neuropsychology and knowing Dominique, she will certainly succeed. This social woman is struggling with the Corona measures and can't wait to hold everyone again, in the dojo and beyond!

Fae Milder is the youngest of the group. She has no modeling experience, but knows all the more about the "other side" of the camera. Fae works as an independent photographer and is quite successful! This 20-year-old from De Bilt is going to study Communication and Information Sciences at the university, but she could actually tackle anything that comes her way. She is very creative. In addition to her photography, Fae excels in making music; piano, guitar and vocals. Collapse

She once wrote a song that Marco Borsato released, so even though she's still young, she already has quite a rich past! Fae hopes the world will become a little more positive. With her infectious smile, that battle is already half won.

LEYLA

Leyla Haji-zade is a student of "Life, Science and technology". As a child of one and a half she came with her parents from Azerbaijan to the Netherlands. Leyla had to deal with prejudices and is advised by her environment to do pre-vocational secondary education and not to aim too high. But Leyla is a fighter: she has now worked from VMBO to the University of Groningen and she is not ready yet! Her goal is to obtain a bachelor's degree in biology, which means that she can transfer to medicine with the lateral intake. Her dream is to eventually become a heart surgeon! Collapse

The Miss Netherlands elections are a way for her to show everyone that you don't have to listen to well-meaning advice below your own level. It is ideal that she now participates at the age of 23. Her agenda is already full in the coming years because: “Then I'm too busy with my studies,” says Leyla.

ROOS SOPHIE

Roos Sophie van Twisk is the centipede of the finalists. She likes order and control, which is a good thing because otherwise she would never have made it to a title in Business & Finance at the University of Amsterdam! This radiant blonde of 22 has never had time to pursue a modeling career because she is really busy enough… Collapse

In addition to studying, she rides dressage at top level, she goes to the gym 4 to 5 times a week and loves skiing and snowboarding. She wants to use her appearance, cleverness and perhaps a Miss Netherlands title to encourage women in particular to strive for the highest. Running your own business next to your family? It is possible. Roos Sophie's thesis has already shown that women in business provide a higher business value!

ROSALIN

A few years ago, Rosalin van Tuijl never thought she would participate in the Miss Netherlands pageant. This 26-year-old shining Gelderlander therefore has no modeling experience. She works as an operating assistant and her work was her life especially during the Corona crisis. Rosalin has lost 35 kilos in recent years and was encouraged by her environment to sign up. She finds it a special surprise that she is now in the final! Collapse

Rosalin wants to show that people have to believe in their own strength. The Corona crisis, for example, was an appalling period. Nevertheless, Rosalin also draws strength from it, especially in the care community, strength and hope for the future.

SANNE

Sanne ten Kate dazzles everyone with her smile and dimples on their cheeks. That was not always the case! Like many students today, she has also suffered from the pressure of society for a while. Stress, fear and doubt ensued. When you look good, everyone thinks that everything is going well for you while you feel something different inside. Fortunately, Sanne managed to get to work on this in time. Through her participation she hopes to encourage everyone to do what you find interesting and interesting, not to be influenced too much by others and to sound the alarm in time if it becomes too much. SHARIDA

Sharida Senior is a cheerful flapper from Amsterdam. She is almost finished with her psychology studies and researches the effect of hate on cognitive functions. That is also her mission: equality is important for everyone. Sha, 27, has extensive international modeling experience and has taken part in the Love Island program. She likes to paint in her spare time, but she currently has little. Collapse

Her ambitions include everything from "a modeling contract in New York" to "writing a book," and she'll probably do it all. Sha is wonderfully chaotic, always cheerful and hopes to encourage everyone to be themselves and to fight inequality.

SIGRID

Sigrid Boersma is an impressive sight with her 1.84 meter, hair and green eyes! She has an incredible amount of modeling experience and can also sing, dance and present. Sigrid is 23 and studies Business Administration in Amsterdam. With her participation she wants to help with the empowerment of women. Sigrid believes that oppression of women and domestic violence must end. Collapse

SOPHIE

Sophie Alink is a well-bred Media & Culture student from Utrecht. She is 20 and what she lacks in experience makes up for in confidence. This centipede loves fitness and running. With Miss Netherlands she hopes to inspire everyone to pursue your dreams. In addition, she wants to draw attention to loneliness in today's society. Not only for the elderly, it is also paralyzing for young people to feel lonely. Collapse

Sophie knows what she is talking about, during a longer time in Spain she felt very alone. No wonder she feels like a fish in the water among the other finalists. She is the smallest of the club at 1.73 meters, but she more than makes up for it with her cheerful presence.
