19 year old Nigara Saadat from Ghazni was crowned Beauty of Afghanistan 2020 at Salim Cafe in Kabul edging out four other women in the finals for the national title earlier this January.
Organized by Kabul based Modelstan agency, this is the first event of its kind to be held in Afghanistan since its last national beauty contest in 1990. Afghanistan to date has not participated in Miss Universe or Miss World.
