Sera Volavola (FIJI 2023)

After three years of absence in the Miss Earth pageant, Fiji is back by crowning Sera Volavola as Miss Earth Fiji 2023 last month. Sera is a 25-year-old model and a student of BS Chemistry and Food Technology. She considered herself as people-oriented as she loves to spend a lot of time with her family and friends and also help other people.

Her advocacy focuses on climate change. She said, “There’s more to it than just speeches and presentations. I believe, action should be stressed more often and my target people are the youth and the younger children. I believe, if we do take it seriously and start mounding the young people to do good for the safety of our environment then one small change will make a difference and a collective of that will be a huge change”.

As for winning Miss Earth Fiji 2023, Sera said, “In all honesty I was surprised I won it. And now knowing that I'll be representing my country it's a lot of pressure but also exciting”.
