Miss Netherlands 1957, Corine Rottschaefer (second from left), was chosen Miss Europe 1957, just some days before she goes to Long Beach, California to participate in Miss Universe. Because of winning Miss Europe, she is not allowed to compete in Miss Universe 1957.
