All the best to our girl for the Miss Grand Voice Round 2 tonight!

Congratulations to Kristina on making Top 3 at MGI Voice 2024....she got the chance to perform at the preliminary competition tonight.

Kristina EG was okay and the walk was just average....I have not really followed MGI before but I was surprised to see the quality of the ladies...there are at least 20 that would not look out of place in a MU top 20 line-up. There are several ladies that I like but honestly I have not been following the pageant close enough to pick a clear winner but I I would be 100%  pleased if Peru won.  Mynmar is also a standout and Philippines seems super prepared to compete and is clearly looking for a win. India is also at least top 10 material.

If Kristina does not place I would not be suprised...if she is serious about another pageant then she should take a couple years off to improve both physically and mentally so that she can be more competitive. One thing though - she is one of the few TT reps. since 2009 (after PE gave up the local MU & MW franchises) that I have followed with some interest...and that's saying alot. 

I am so disappointed with the beauty level of our current MW and MU reps.....where are all the beauties? It is clear that money is not the issue because Charu has the money but no global beauty turned up to her pageant even after Ache placed 3rd at the international competition. These long-winded local competitions are also not very appealing especially when allegedly it appears most of the time they know who they want to win by the close of screening. 

Based on the Prelims SS and EG, I don't expect to see Kristina in the finals if it is based on just prelim scores, but kudos to her for putting her best foot forward. 

I don't want to see her at another local pageant for another 2 years and if she returns her body needs to be in MU shape (and I am talking about in the early 2000's and late 1990's MU editions when MU actually had some real standards). 

I dont know how for someone who is 5'11" her torso looked short in the SS prelim pics...I think a ponytail would have looked better for the SS round....and her walk was not memorable. She has alot of work to put in if she plans on representng TT at another competition later on. 

I only followed MGI 2024 because Kristina was competing. I was surprised to see that the competiton had grown so much that you can easily pick at least 25 ladies who would not look out of place in the MU finals. The top competitors' bodies are on point and they are excellent speakers!

I don't really know what the scoring system is like, or what they are looking for at MGI but I would be pleased if Peru ,Mynmar   or Spain wins - out of these three,  Peru is my top favorite followed by Mynmar.  India and Philippines however appear to be heavy favorites. US Virgin Islands (could pull a surprise win), Puerto Rico and Columbia are also really strong....and I could go on...there are so many global beauties at the international pageant.
