Sadjia Herbane (ALGERIA 2024)

In a national pageant held on October 1st at the Algiers Marriott Hotel Bab Ezzouar, Sadjia Herbane was crowned as the first ever Miss Earth Algeria 2024, besting 13 finalists. Sadjia is a 19-year old foreign languages student hailing from Algiers.
“I am honored to be crowned Miss Earth Algeria 2024 and to have the opportunity to represent my country in the Philippines. This moment marks the beginning of an incredible journey, and I am ready to proudly carry Algeria’s colors on the international stage. Thank you all for your support and encouragement”, Sadjia wrote on Instagram after her crowning.
1st runner-up: Mouna Bekhchi
2nd runner-up: Yasmine Mamouni

For the occasion of Pink October, Sadjia and her runners-up participated in a breast cancer awareness campaign in the town of Bouira, organized by AB Park Discovery & Adventure. The campaign helped raise awareness and supported women with breast cancer, and provided a platform for dialogue and solidarity

In this role, I want to focus on promoting environmental awareness by leading initiatives such as tree planting, beach cleanups and recycling efforts.
