Maria Namiiro, 21, from London, was crowned Miss Uganda 2009 at the Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala. She will represent Uganda at Miss World 2009 in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 12. First runner-up is Tina Atim and second runner-up is Carol Kasujja.
