globalbeauties has barbados as continental queen too. and they know the reason why she didn't make the cut...

..but to be fair to martinique, she's the one who made it to the finals. the ONLY caribbean girl in there. logic tells me she should get the award.

I'd be okay with a tie. I like both of them, and tell what you want, Martinique is beautiful, she should just get rid of those dreadlocks. Smile

I am late with my comment because I really wanted to take my time and overthink it again and again. But there's no way to avoid to say that for me, after Ksenia, this is a huge step down in MW history! I already didn't understand how Gibraltar could win the Beach Beauty contest. She looks nice and fresh and as someone here said absolutely not pageant patty. But is this enough to win the biggest pageant in the world??? I am sorry if someone feels offended. I don't bash anyone or criticize any decision of the judges. But this is my opinion and for me the result is a disappointment...

I don't get this either. It's just twisted that Barbados is Queen of Caribia
They can't say that it's because Martinique is not an independent country, but belongs to France. So Martinique is now a part of Europe then? Laughing

Doesn't make any sense, but that's the only reason I came up with and yet I know it doesn't make sense either Laughing

It must be because Martinique is just a French region, and also part of the EU, so in a way is actually a European country.

Gibraltar has less than 28 000 inhabitans, so it's rather a little town than a real country. So that's really a challenge to find there 12 finalists.
Although some of girls at their final are no mega beauty, I appreciate that the pageant is held in such a very small country.

actually national hero. they plan to give with the governments permission a 2 hour break for those working so they can attend the festivities planned.
