This is the official thread for Mister World Philippines 2010.

For the Philippine representative to the Mr. World finals in Korea, Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated (BPCI) announced that it is now accepting applications for Mr. World Philippines only until February 10, 2010.

If you are a natural-born Filipino male aged 17 to 27 years old, single, physically fit, competitive and accomplished, has at least a high school diploma, stands at least 5’10” barefoot, has never competed in any international male pageant, and has good moral character, you might be chosen as the country’s delegate to be sent to Korea and compete in the finals.

Meanwhile, according to some sources, here are some handsome Filipino men who "passed" their applications and interested to become our representative to Mr. World (though I'm waiting for confirmation). They are:

Alvin De Joya is Mr. World Philippines 2010

23-year-old Alvin Aldeosa De Joya from Cauayan City, Isabela has just
won the title of Mr. World Philippines 2010 during the finals held
tonight at the Studio 5 of GMA Network Center.

Alvin or just Vhin, who stands so tall at 6'2", is a Registered Nurse
and also a part-time model. He studied at the Far Eastern University
in Manila.

It's an interesting victory for Alvin especially that he joined Mister
International Philippines 2009 last October but only took home the
People's Choice Award.

Living up to his motto "A winner never quits, a quitter never wins",
Alvin has succeeded in Mr. World and bested 16 other candidates.

As the pageant winner, Alvin De Joya will be representing the
Philippines in the Mr. World 2010 pageant happening on March 27 in
Incheon, Korea.
