Guys, I think Tinnyse suffers from what a lot of this year's Miss World contestants apparently did.... they look better in person than in their photos! I know the same was said about Miss Brazil, and Miss Russia, who apparently looks even better in person that she does in pics! Now, check out these photos of Tinnyse taken from the Miss Bahamas World website, from the same event as the photo above.



She looks ways better in these photos than she does in the one above. Also, anyone who watched the Miss World pageant on television would have to admit that she looked absolutely stunning! At a few points when they were announcing the Top 15, the camera focused on her and I thought, my God she looks amazing! Now, obviously she had problems with her hair, which became evident to everyone when we saw her in some pics without extensions during the course of the competition. So I'm thinking that maybe she COULDN'T go with the long flowing hair because of that. Who knows what would have happened if she didn't have that problem?

In any event, as a Bahamian I'm really proud of Tinnyse and I think she represented us well, despite her challenges. I'm really hoping that this is not her last pageant, because I think she has the potential to do really well.

Principals of SkyBahamas and MBO signed a contract today making the new partnership between the country’s fastest growing domestic airline and the country’s leading beauty pageant official. As a result of the agreement, the pageant’s family island based contestants, lecturers, and essential service providers will be flown to and from the capital for pageant events. Additionally, the pageant’s contestants will be flown to an exotic location in the Bahamas to discover more of the country’s natural beauty.

SkyBahamas Airlines Ltd. is one of the leading regional airlines in The Bahamas. The airline started with regular flights into Exuma and today its services have expanded to include Freeport, Bimini, and Marsh Harbour. The airline plans to ad Cat Island to the mix in the coming months. In addition to offering regular scheduled flights throughout the Bahamas, the airline also charters flights throughout the Caribbean while earning a reputation for exceptional customer service. The Miss Bahamas Organization began staging pageants in 2006 when the first Miss Bahamas World pageant was held under its direction. Since then, the pageant has grown to become the premier beauty pageant in The Bahamas. This year’s pageant is scheduled for May 31st and will be held at the Rainforest Theatre under the theme “Earth Angels.”

she was great there was just so much tough competition that year.
