The search for Miss Norway Universe and Miss Norway World 2011 has started. Girls can apply on the Froken Norge website, and there will also be castings.
A couple of favorites so far.....
Charlotte Weber, 170 cm:
Hanne Tinderholt Lenes, 172 cm
Their age is not listed, but they look very young...... But, then again - next year they will be 1 year older!!
and maybe - a little bit taller as well.....

Not much happening from the Froken Norge org. No news about when the final will be, or how they will choose their finalists. But girls can still apply on their websites and create profiles.
Here is one of the most interesting ones..... maybe not the most obvious beaty, and maybe more of a model type.
But, she is very well educated and speaks 4 foreign languages. She was born in Russia, but has lived in Norway for 10 years:
Lilia Tomren, 179 cm. Age is not lilsted, but I think she is 21. She says she was 11 when she came to Norway.

Ha ha. My heart will allways belong to Norway. But, I must say - if only Kenya would crown some of the really beautiful girls I have seen they have in their country - they could easily win an international crown in the future.
Maybe I'll move there when the house is finished and take over the MU and MW franchise.....
Btw - this is how our house in Diani Beach looks like at the moment:
It will be one floor higher and possible to rent for holiday when it is finished next year.....

Froken Norge has now announced that the quarter finalists of this year's pageant will be presented on May 2nd.

They will compete against eachother in pairs. Public can vote by text message.
