The 20 battles with the 40 quarter-finalists have com to a conclusion!

I have put the winner of each battle in red under the pic of the battles...

A lot of short girls are now in the semis, particuallary sad that Marianne Lindbeck did'nt advance.

The best girls left imo are Live Guttu and Charlotte Svee Hestnes, and maybe Guro Olaussen.

Finally some news from Norway!

The voting among the 20 chosen semi-finalists will start july 11th. There will not be battles between 2 girls like among the top40.

7 girls will go on to the finale on August 27th + 1 winner of a charity competition.

The finalists will be revealed on August 7th.

But, my question is: WILL THERE BE TIME TO SEND A GIRL TO MU? The final in Brazil is on September 12th. I fear Norway will be without a contender in this year's MU.

They should stop the battles and let a jury decide! Intersting way to select a top 20, but many stunning girls like Marianne have been left out!

The winner of the charity competition is Ine Drikakisi. she arranged a handball-school for children. The income went to "Redd Barna" - an organization helping children around the world.

Ine is the first finalist for the final August 27th, the rest will be announced August 7th.

She is orginally from the Fiji Islands, and is 180 cm.
She works as a spare time model in addition to her studies.
