Road to "Ceska Miss 2011" (Czech Republic Universe, World and Earth)

"One contest, the only Miss."
14, instead of 12, finalists will be fighting to become Èeská Miss in 2011. The TV show of 7th year of competition will be broadcasted in spring, first time on TV Prima. As today director of contest - Michaela Maláèová said at press conference.

She told that Èeská Miss will send its winners to Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Earth, training camp of finalists will be held in Mexico. Czech Republic will also have its representative at Mr. World, which will be winner of Mr. Czech Republic's 2nd year.

"Thanks to not having national rival we'll be back to regional rounds. In final there'll be 14 finalists, one from each region of CR, but this year the system of castings will be same as in previous years - one casting in Prague, one in Brno, one in Ostrava, one in Plzeò (taking place November 21st-25th," says Maláèová. She adds: "Considering non-existence of Miss ÈR already 800 girls applied, I await record interest because the campaign has not yet begun."

Claims for adepts are according to her still the same: "We're looking for the most charming and most interesting ones." The winner will be chosen by TV viewers and winners will get prizes in price of more than 5.000.000. Kè, e.g. leasing of luxurious flat, passenger car or special drinking regime.


Maláèová opening new season of Èeská Miss

Èeská Miss 2010 could be seen on TV Nova, the organizers decided for change of TV station because they wanted to have more varied show. They were dealing with all stations and Prima came with best offer. Apart from final TV show there should also appear programs acquainting with finalists even before the final.

For now the only Mr. Czech Republic - Josef Karas thinks that taking part in beauty contests is good chance for people wanting to catch on: "It opens door into world and helps in career. It's good experience for people that like traveling. I like to travel through world, too and meet new people." According to him Czech girls are in world well appreciated.

He tells: "They are marked types and even if we are small country, they have big chances." He also mentions that beauty contests are not only about outer beauty but also about talent and personal qualities of people.

Mimochodom ve¾mi sa mi páèi ten koncept súaže, je len jedna, súaží víazka z každeho kraja. Parada!
Jedine èo sa mi nepáèi je, že ¾udia vyberajú víazku pre MU. Ja by som to prehodila nech vyberu kandidatku na MW a o hlavnej víazke - MU rozhodnu porotcovia. Predsa MU je MU :-D
