SANTIAGO DE LOS CABALLEROS, Dominican Republic - Jenny Claribel Blanco was crowned Miss Mundo Dominicana 2012 at the Gran Arena del Cibao in Santiago de los Caballeros. She will represent theDominican Republic in Miss World 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on August 18.
Diany Mota, national director of Miss World, explained that the representative was selected during a casting call due to the date shift of the international pageant. The Reina Nacional de Belleza Miss República Dominicana 2012/2013 pageant will take place on September and the winner will go to Miss World 2013.

Hmm!! Again? She was Miss Valverde at MDRU 2009 ended up as a semi-finalist, when Ada De La Cruz won the crown. I am not convinced with her, never was, besides she is too short, she stands no more than 5'5".

What's going on with the Dominican Republic this year in Beauty Pageants?
I visit a lot the Dominican Forum and I read that the MW Org declined Jenny Blanco's participation for MW 2012 Pageant, because she is already 27 years old. MW Org only allows girls until 25.
I mean if Dianny Mota (owner of Miss Mundo Dominicana Franchise ) knows these rules, why she chose Jenny at first? Also Jenny is too short, she stands only 5'4. I will confirm these news as soon as I know more.
By the way, I've never liked Jenny, hope they choose a better candidate and soon, time is getting short.

Due to her age ( she is 27 ) the MW Org declined Jenny Blanco. They only accept girls now up to 25 years old, I mean if Diany Mota (Owner of Miss Mundo Dominicana ) knew this why she chose Jenny?
On her Twitter Account, Jenny said that still Julia Morley invited her as a guest to the MW Pageant.
I will keep updating this topic until the new MISS MUNDO DOMINICANA 2012 is chosen AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

I truly don't understand MW! If i'm not mistaken,the org. (for example) accepted Miss Kazakhstan 2010 who was 27 as well
