I AM She Updates:

14th September 2012

Fitness is not only about how you look from outside but also about how you feel within.
The fitness training at I AM She not only prepares the participants for the competition, it prepares them for life. The intense training helps them understand their mental and physical strength. It helps them understand what all they are capable of achieving.
The training sessions are designed in such a way that they take care of every aspect of fitness like, strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, stamina, cardio, stability, body, balance, focus etc.
As the sub-event “I AM FIT” is coming closer the competition is getting tougher. The participants of I AM She 2012 are working very hard and every girl gives her 100% during the training sessions.
Today we took the participants out into the open lawn. They were divided into two groups. One of the groups did a good 35 minutes of intense training focused on strength and endurance. The first group did variations like push-ups (static and moving), lunges, squats, bur pies, mountain climbers, etc. in a circuit form. While the other group focused on body weight and sports training. Their work was included locomotion movement, which is basically inspired from different animals and their movements and the sports training included various drills, running, sprinting, etc. After that the groups were switched, which gave both the groups a chance to do both the styles of training.
With such intense combinations of training, the contestants are showing some great results and it looks like the judges are going to have a tough time choosing the winner of “I AM FIT” 2012.

The I AM She 2012 batch is hard at work here at Leonia Holistic Resort in Hyderabad, getting ready for the finale next Friday.
