I was very surpised that Texas was shut out of the top 5. I thought Georgia should have won. Nevada came across as haughty and snooty. Ohio was bland for me, Maryland was ok. I liked the fashion show opening, did not care for the commentary during the top 16, swimsuit, or evening gown. Also the announcement music for the top 16 was boring. I thought Guliana and Andy did a good job as hosts, much better than last year. Did not care for the musical acts at all. Rhode Island answered her question very well. I gave her high marks for that. I do not think she will do well at Miss Universe. She is too short compared to the other girls. Still, I do like her. She has a beautiful face and great figure.

Glad too, that Rhode Island got its very first Miss USA tonight. Nice when a state that has never won or rarely wins is selected.

I loved Olivia from the first moment I saw her!!
She was my choice for the crown allthough in the prediction game I had her as 1st ru, after my husband insisted on Nevada! tongue

She may not be tall but she is soooooo beautiful, classy and she proved to be intelligent!
She is definately top 16 MU material!!
And I admit it... SHE IS ALLREADY MY MISS UNIERSE 2012! I love you

I agree completely with Scotty: pretty but short, smart but too sweet. I liked her from the first moment but I NEVER expected her to win, she simply didn't convince during the prelims... Congrats, though! A nice surprise!

I have to agree with both of you. When she won Rhode Island I was in love with her, because I love her type of beauty. Cute and adorable, but hot at the same time. But MUO never crowned someone like her before so I didn´t think she could make it, but she did and I´m so happy for her and I´m not even sad that I broke my line of predicting correct winners for past few years

I like Rhode Island, too. but she did not convience me during the prelims. Very glad Maryland did so well. She was one of my favorites after the prelims.
