things I don't get about MW 2012

1 If the fast tracks determine the finalists, where was Kazakstan? And allthough I hated her , I admit that it's unfair that she was not in the top 30 since she was in four finals if I remember corectlly!!!

2 In the Sport's fast track there were 5 winners,one in each, so how was miss Sweden chosen?

3 How many points do you get from the fast tracks? All fast tracks have the same point system? It seemed to me that beauty with a purpose has more

4 On the scoreboard miss Usa had only 152 points but she had left behind girls with 200+ points scratch

There are also runner-ups in each sport event. Sweden won a event but she was also did well in the whole event with a second place in at least one sports event. This is not about to get one win in the sports competition but to select points in all sports events. One win in one sports event don't mean that much if you do bad in the rest of the events.

It's always like that in Miss World. It's like they know the result.... Nobody seems happy or surprised Rolling Eyes

The only real looking reaction came last year when Ivian won. She looked suprised and burst into tears.....

1 Kazahkstan was in top 30. She's in red there in the middle.....

2 Who knows..... After Beauty with purpose points India, Australia, Indonesia and England got ONLY 10 extra points. Kenya did not get anything allthough she was 5th in BWP, and England was 6th-10th. China however seemed to get 50 points from Talent win and Jamaica got 35 points for coming second......

4 I don't get that either....... I don't get this pageant AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Julia Morley hates Poland after MW '06 and we could see this clearly yesterday. Can someone explain me how its possible that Poland was 4th after Top Model, then 12th and 18th but in the end out of top 30???!! Rolling Eyes

After this edition Poland should withdraw from this ridicolous pageant. It doesn't make sense to participate anymore. -6006-

I am glad I DVR this pageant. So boring and I fast forwarded through most of it. The scoreboard system makes no sense to me at all. Girls who barely had any points making it into the the top 15? I don't mind China winning as she was very pretty, but it is suspicious that China was the host country and produced the winner. While I was glad to see United States make the top 15, there were more deserving girls. I was surprised at Indonesia being called as well. I thought Wales or South Sudan might win. It does seem Julia has the final say on who advances and who the winner is. I will say this: At least at Miss World, some countries who typically would not place at Miss Universe at least get some sort of recognition at Miss World--whether it is as a semifinalist or an event winner.

Overall: A very pretty winner, but a boring and suspicious pagent.

Oh come on now.......... Finland has been ignored FOR YEARS.
All other nordic countries have had success this millenium in Universe and World except Finland....

Miss World, last time placed 1993
Miss Universe, last time placed 1996

But still, I keep on hoping........

Miss World 2006 in Poland was a disaster. Poland declared the desire to host the pageant and then sponsor withdrew and Julia Morley had to pay for everything. She was pissed as h*ll! She has a big reason to hate our country!

Your girl has very few fans. She was only in the top 25 of Miss Talent as well. My girl was among top favs even on Misso where Poland is always ignored and was high in Top Model and Beach beauty fast-tracks.

Poland had 237 points before BWaP but after all in the top 15 was Kenya and Indonesia which had less points!

Someone have remarked that genrally any european country are placed more than 2 year in a row (sorry for my english).

France: 2009 & 2010 ----> placed 2010 ----> clap
italy ----> 2010 & 2011 ----> palced 2012 ------>clap.

So next year it's sure that England and Spain will clap?

Hotpics in here and in misso is just a little fun to us fans.
It has nothing to do with the actual pageant....

So if a delegate does well in hotpics....... so what??
That doesn't mean that they deserve a place in the semis over other delegates.... I mean in a fans mind they do, but the organisation does not have to listen to us fans and keep up to date who we like.

I don't understand the pointing system.... Sweden was at fifth place before the last two fast tracks.... It makes no sense to me whatever who USA and Kenia all of a sudden got to top15.... If Julia Morley is pissed with Poland over the pageant in 2006 then why is she pissed to Finland out of nordic countries.

What did we finns ever do to her?? Laughing

Poland wasn't the only one who all of a sudden dropped out... There was Sweden, Northern Ireland and Guadeloupe also.... I don't know what happened. But at least Poland got points.....

I bet Finland got like 20 points alltogether like last year. WHY JULIA? WHY? lol!
